| Skin Peels |
|
The purpose of a peel is to remedy skin aging, pigmentation marks and acne scarring. The skin texture is refined and the complexion becomes clearer and brighter. There are many different types of peels. At Paramount Healthcare we use TCA ( Trichloroacetic acid) This is a highly effective medium depth peel. It is applied in four weekly sessions. There is no down time and you can carry on your activities as normal. In Practice There is no need to prepare the skin beforehand. The treatment will be performed by the clinic nurse whom is highly skilled at application. Whilst the peel is being applied you will feel a sensation of warmth and tingling on the face. The first 2 days after the peel your face will feel tight. The 3rd and fourth day your skin will flake noticeably. Recommendations Do not wash the treated area on the evening of the peel. The post peel cream applied by your practitioner must be kept on until the next day. Glycolic Acid PeelGlycolic Acid peel at £70 for an individual peel or course of six peels at £370. Glycolic acid - a mild chemical exfoliater acting on the top layer of skin. By removing the dead layer of skin results in improved skin appearance and is particularly helpful in improving skin tone, reducing acne outbreaks and improving fine lines and wrinkles |
